This video covers modeling and fabrication of a sheet metal curved surface to a pre-existing sculpture. I used a 3D scanner mesh to create a curved surface then used UV Unwrap to create a cuttable flat pattern. Cut the pattern out of 22ga metal, formed it with a mallet and a MIG welder for a near perfect fit.
