Major start up issue

So. I’m running the crossfire pro
Primweld cut60
TM60 machine torch
Version 21.1.5 FC
Updated firm ware
Computer is desktop
16GB raAMD Ryzen5 6core processor
Windows 10 Pro

When I tried to do my first cut the torch fired and the screen showed error messages galore, but the torch head wouldn’t move, just sat there burning in one place. I couldn’t stop it from the screen everything was locked up. Had to quickly shut down the plasma cutter. Then when I try to dry fire the machine manually, I can cycle the torch on, then off and the FC program immediately goes to all greyed out and I have to reboot my computer, turning off the program and rebooting doesn’t work.
I’m using sheetcam for the post processing.

How is the VIM ( voltage input module ) connected to the plasma? Divided? RAW?

What did the messages say ?

One said USB Error

I have the blue pin connector on the back with the 2 pins that I had to solder in?

Raw or Divided connection? how is it hooked the vim? DIV input to DIV output? PV input to PV output?

This is a notoriously poor place to get a voltage measurement from. RAW from inside the machine is the way to go with a Primeweld.

Ok I’ll start there and see what happens

Looking at your picture.

That is wrong where you are hooked to the PV output and DIV output.

use one plug either side of the vim. either PV input and output or DIV input and output.

So the one coming from the table side needs to be on the bottom side?(input)?

the PV input (RAW) is the black and red port on the top of the VIM.

input in from the plasma

output is to the table electronics enclosure

But I’m going to switch it over to raw
