I made a major Improvement to my plasma table today. I built an all-aluminum shelf for the bottom of it that holds my tank full of green cut plasma fluid. I’ve got a valve on the bottom of the drain that goes right into my tank. And then to refill the water table I have a regulated air hose going into the tank so it pushes The Cutting fluid right back up through the drain hose. It’s pretty cool. I made 10 gallons of green cut
What material is that? How did you attach, I’m a total newbie to all this
I made the shelving frame out of 1.5 x 3/16" aluminum angle iron. Not sure the thickness of the aluminum treadplate. I made sure the shelf was 1/4" narrower than the langmuir frame so I could loosely attach it with bolts and still have the ability to adjust the table for squareness as needed.
Thank you so much for sharing
@bricklef I like this upgrade, may I ask what tank are you utilizing?
It’s an ATV spray tank. I would suggest getting a higher quality one than the one I bought. Mine says MASTER MFG. on the side.
How many gallons is the tank ?
It’s a 15 gallon tank but I only mixed up 10 gallons of juice
can you give me the outside dimensions of the pan you built? Id like to do one up before my table arrives. thanks !
I made it 37 1/2" x 24 3/8" and put washers in to space it. It did this because there’s some need to be able to have the legs move for the purpose of squaring and parrellism. The bolts are not tight
Awesome. Thank you! I appreciate the info. Langmuir says mine should be shipping out tomorrow… We will see…
