Machining plasma cut surfaces

Hi!
Any tricks on machining a plasma cut surface? I’ve heard before that the dross and rough surface does nasty things to endmills. Any particular endmill style or coatings for this?

I use carbide endmills, the trick is to take a deep enough cut to get under the hard surface
