I saw in a training video where he was able to toggle on the 'show machine limits ‘ option in the control software, but mine is greyed out. Is there something I’m missing to turn this on?
Hi Hill,
You’ll want to make sure your limit switches are all plugged in and that the Soft Limits are enabled in the FireControl Settings menu. You can open that menu at the top right corner of the screen, tapping on the square that has the three lines going across it. Then you should be able to active the Show Machine Limits.
Let me know if that works or if you have any other questions.
Checking the Soft Limits in the settings menu did the trick for me. It’s easy to overlook that step when you’re first getting everything synced up with the limit switches.

Replaced a couple while building it because I didn’t like how they mounted. Haven’t had an issue yet
Yeah, that was what worked for me as well.
I purchased these with some longer screws (m2.5, if I recall?)
Mine work fine for me as well, I’m one of the limit switch supporters on the forum. They for sure have their place. I had them disabled for something a while back and just re enabled them.
