Mach3 Windows 10 FYI USB cable length!

Just built a new computer for my original crossfire…
USB cable length matters!!!
If you are having communication problems with your RNR motion controller , before you rip your hair out like I did, try a shorter USB cable…
The long one worked fine with the old pc but not the new one. Shorter cable fixed the problem!!

What length is working for you and which length did you try that didn’t?

Had a 16 foot usb cable that worked with one laptop… built an upgraded PC for Mach 3…
it did not work…
switched to a 12 foot cord… End of problems!!!

I spent several hours trouble shooting why Mach would not talk to the controller…
Changed cables and instant happiness!!!
