Mac OS 11/Big Sur / FireControl

Finally received all boxes and assembled the table. Went to download FireControl for my Mac but I now have Mac OS11 and am unable to download haha. Does anyone know when it will be compatible with Mac OS 11 Big Sur?

I’m trying to understand why you would tie up a performance PC to a machine that cuts metal. Firecontrol will run on a $150 miniPC standalone while you could be comfortably situated with your Mac designing the next thing. I have several pieces of CNC equipment in my shop and none of them are directly connected to my workstation. I design the files on the workstation and either ‘sneakernet’ or network via shared drives the files to the CNC equipment, set them up with whatever manual setup is required, and let them run - in another room with all the dust & vapor collection, noise of cutting, etc, all separated by at least one wall/door from my workspace. I’m sure your situation is different than mine, and that’s fine, but I just don’t get tying up an important tool like your Mac to run a piece of equipment…

Its an older Mac, I have a new one so that one is being used for CNC.

I moved this to the software category and am including @langmuirsystems in this response so they can follow up on it.
