Just saved it myself! This info could be super helpful for both newer and more-experienced operators alike.
that was good, thanks.
should be a mandatory read for all newbies!!!..
found it on plasma spider
I read it and found some of the info was not correct. It also was done by someone not knowing the English language or done by AI
Are you referring to the miss spelled words? I did see some of those. I think miss spelled words are becoming more and more. I saw a post awhile back where someone used the word “Wood” and should have used “Would”. I am horrible at spelling, but I do try and use the spell check and correct words it finds I spelled wrong. Now if I am on my phone, that creates even more spelling errors.
I don’t know enough about plasma cutting to know what info was incorrect.
Spell check won’t flag homonyms (Wood vs Would, They’re vs there, to vs too vs two). Prove reading helps a LOT!
ahahahahahaah…nice one…subtle…
That’s funny right there!!
Well played!
I did not catch this until Tool Boy quoted it.
It’s got some good info, but it’s definitely not a complete summary of the potential applications for CNC/plasma setups. Nowhere was it discussed that you can print money by just downloading free files off the internet. And this can be accomplished without learning anything new! I feel the author was trying to keep that info on the down low.
@TomWS don’t get me started on the loss of the English language on the internet forums. I frequent numerous automotive sites. I think it has reached >50% of the time that the words “break” and “brake” are misused. I think I’m going to have this on my headstone: “Just taking a brake, be back soon”. Or maybe it’ll be, “Here he lies, a victim of failed breaks on his GR Corolla”.
[Chain Pulling On]
I know! One would expect at least Graduate Level language and grammar on the Internet Fora!
[Chain Pulling Off]
Actually I don’t expect that. I think this effectively speaks to the universal availability of the Internet access and that is a good thing. And that there are the PITAs like you and me who try to improve it a little at a time.
