We just got our hands on a second hand Crossfire XR that has never been used before. Setup went well and we got to cutting. First few sheets went good, but now we are getting Lost Connection Errors pretty much on every sheet. Even more frustrating that once we re-establish the connection it seems that the coordinates have shifted slightly so even if we restart from the correct line, the parts are now slightly off and therefore useless for our purposes.
I have tried moving the computer as far away from the machine as I can, tried various usb cables, even borrowed one from my office printer. Quadruple-checked all the connections, tried different usb ports. The issue seems to persist but its random enough that I cant even pinpoint any specific situation that causes it.
Any advice on what else we can try and any suggestions on what can be done to try re-establish the proper coordinate alignment in the event of an error?
