It appears this machine is a high frequency start machine, that being the case it will not work with the Langmuir tables.
Do you still have the original manual for your machine? If not, perhaps you could contact Longevity and verify that it is a non HF blowback start machine.
My guess is the one listed on Amazon is just an updated model of the one you are using?
You really need to verify it is not a HF machine as you risk damaging your motion control board if it is.
@mechanic416 can you verify if this machine is compatible?
I will try to contact them. Thank you. If I’m not 100% sure this machine is compatible I will buy another. Thanks again
Does your torch look like this.
I could only find the manual for the 50d not the lp50d
But in this manual it’s a high frequency pilot Arc.
A picture of your torch will tell right away.
If it looks like the one @TinWhisperer posted it won’t work on the table.
Welcome to the forum.
Ahh I’ve found it is an LP-50 model the older version. It says it’s a HF Arc leading start, does this mean incompatible?
That is a PT31 High Frequency torch and will not work on the Langmuir table.
thank you.
