Linear Bearing Reinstall Question

I recently started to put together the back gauge for the 25T and went to pull the liner rails our of their respective bags. The first one was great and the bearing blocks had zip ties on both sides to keep them from coming off the rails. The second one only had 1 zip tie on the rail and one block was off the rail in the bag. I opened as best I could and was able to slide the block back on. All the little balls for the bearings seemed to still be stuck in the proper area. Am i missing something on reinstall? Has anyone else dealt with putting the block back on? I know Langmuir has a warning about not allowing the blocks to come off the rail, but this was how I received the product. Thank you.

They are packed with lithium grease from the factory, so if you are lucky there was enough grease to keep the balls in place, normally they all fall out like a pachinko machine. If there are no balls that you can see outside the carriage, then you lucked out. The way they operate is the balls circulate in grooves and small tubes back and forth throughout the carriage, if one or two is missing they will generally still work well, especially for this very light application, as they are almost overkill.

Thank you for the update. It looked like all the balls were still stuck in there from the heavy grease, and nothing was floating around the bag. It was simple to slide back on and i will continue with the installation process.
