Learning to tube and pipe bend

At the end of 2025 we ordered a tube and pipe bender. They were short of hydraulic Rams so a few weeks ago we received our machine from Tennessee.

We bought a few Dom dies inch and a half and inch and 3/4 And one pipe die for inch and a half.

We bought a few lengths of pipe and started figuring out our bend allowances and our spring back in a few other details.

So far this machine is great. Well put together a very high quality American made machine.

Brad at JD2 was very helpful. So far experience has been great. We had to wait longer than we thought to receive the machine but sometimes things can’t be helped.

Here’s a photo dump of what we have going on so far.

We’re very pleased so far. It’s going to be fun to incorporate this tool into future projects.

At some point this year we want to buy the computer screen and the indexer for this machine. We’re also going to buy a pipe and tube roller to complement it.

If any of you have one of these machines or any tricks and tips I’d love to see some pictures of your work and any advice you have. Thank you

That is a nice piece of equipment, my friend. Of course you have the manual

I’m also hoping that langmuir systems has a profile plasma or laser machine in the works.

That would also compliment this machine and a tube and pipe roller very well.

In your investigations, had you looked at Rogue Fabrication. I think they are in Oregon. That was on my wish list for a long time.
