Another noob question… Trying to create a cut path from the F-bomb (cleaned up) and all it will do is trace the letter F. Tried the DXF add in still did not combine the layers… Extrude, only selects the letter again…
Everything has to be in the same layer. You have to do that in a CAD type program.
I downloaded this file from Fireshare. I assumed it was ready to code. Sorry I am having the worst time with Fusion 360…

This one was fixed I think the old version of this file had an open profile

I just downloaded it today. It says “layered dxf” ?
@TheStarrs I opened that file in Fusion 360 and it does have some issues.
Here are the errors I found that fusion had issues with.
I cleaned up the file now fusion 360 recognized it as closed
