Should I be able to move the z axis up and down from Firecontrol. I am just setting up my machine and just finished adjusting my y and x axis.
Yes, page up and page down keys on your key board will jog the z axis.
Okay I thought so. Mine does not. The machine buzzes and tries to move sometimes (a little bit). Also I can freely turn the motor with my fingers so it is not stuck
It sounds like one of the assembly techs forgot to tighten the motor coupler screws! You’ll just need a metric Allen wrench to tighten them up(can’t remember the size off hand).

For what it’s worth, the motor turns the coupler but not the rest. I think mine needs tightened also.
