I bought the Y axis extension kit for my Crossfire and had a couple of issues with it. First, the lead screw was about 1/4" too long, I called the support guys and they hadn’t heard of that issue but they sent me a replacement anyway. In the meantime, I cut the leadscrew down and got it to work. When I got the replacement, it was the same length as the first one. I have no idea how it could be too long but it’s not a problem anymore.
I also had an issue with the cable for the Y axis motor not reaching the control box. I hooked the cables up backwards and they worked but I couldn’t zero anything. Yesterday, I finally made a bracket to move the controller over about 3" and now both cables have enough travel.
I don’t know if I’m the only one to run into these things but thought I’d bring them up.
