I noticed an update to the Fire control and updated the software. My mill Operator went to home the machine and ended up smashing the y2 limit switch. I replaced the Y2 Limit switch with a new one and homed the machine just for the limit switch to get broken again. My Y1 and X limit switch work and don’t over compress on the homing part but for some reason Y2 just keep over compressing on itself. Don’t know if it’s a bug in the new update or if I’m doing something wrong. I might give tech support a call and see what insight they might have.
Note: Every time I press the Y1 switch it throws the alarm same for the X1. The Y2 also throws the alarm when I press it.
UPDATE: I looked in the Electrical Box and traced the Y motor cables and noticed the Y2 was plugged in to the blue and yellow cable which stats: YDR and YSTP. I assumed that should be Y1 motor not Y2 and now the machine is homing properly again.
