My unit was received in March and just getting to the point where I can put it together and have a question about the isolator strip behind the control panel that mounts between it and the table leg.
What was the conclusion for this?
The plastic isolator resolves an issue where continuity between the shell of the USB cable and the frame of the machine can manipulate arc voltage readings from the THC chip, which need to be accurate for THC to behave properly.
If continuity is read between the two and your THC is not functioning properly / FireControl is throwing errors related to arc voltage, report it to support@langmuirsystems.com and we can get you set up with the plastic isolator.
