Has the final decision been made about a 32 bit version of FireControl?
FireControl will work on Windows 7 64 bit machines. If there is a need to support 32 bit machines we can look into creating a 32 bit installer for the software so let us know!
Hi, Go a head and create a 32 bit. Thank you!
What other purposes are you using an older OS for? If you’re not locked into 32 bit, I’d move to modern hardware/software from a performance and, more importantly, security stance.
Having a 32 bit version allows those that are running an older machine (32 bit) that can run Win 10 to not have to upgrade to a new computer. I got the impression it was easy to have a 32 bit version. If so it makes it more economical if one can use an older computer to run FireControl. Langmuir suggested in another post that they could do a 32 bit version if it was needed.
That is what Mike from LS quoted in another place. Was just passing that bit of info on to Agent86 I have modern OS.
I would like to use 32 bit loader. Most of my electrical programs are 32 bit. I also have add ons for Autocad that only use 32 bit (Acad uses both)
I have several 64 bit reputers if needed for non attached programs.
