IPT-60 torch - should I keep this spacer?

I have the IPT-60 torch with a 1.1mm nozzle. Can you confirm that most people do NOT use the standoff that comes with the torch?

That standoff is only used when manually using the torch. It is NOT used for CNC operations.

But you have to set the distances between the tip and the work piece to .060"

Using the Crossfire PRO, I believe the IHS first and then the THC later will keep the correct height @mechanic416

Yes it will but you still have the put it in the settings.

also you need to measure the actual distance…the bounce back from the start can be different from machine to machine…
