Hello.
I have an XR and I get an intermittent error that the torch moved before cutting voltage.
I can’t pin point the issue.
Things that are odd:
The file, I have ran the same file back to back without issue, then at random I will get the error.
The consumables, I have had the issue and then it will be fine for 300+ pierces then it will start back up. So it isn’t them.
To fix it, I usually just have to clear the error and hit start again.
The torch doesn’t try to fire when it does throw the code
Doesn’t seem to be a heat issue as sometimes it will cut for 3min other times an hour.
Thankfully once it starts cutting it has never errors out or lost an arc
Any ideas? I tried searching and couldn’t find a match for the issue
Thanks
Brad

So that should eliminate the file as the problem
Not sure what this means, are you saying changing consumables takes care of this problem?
What plasma cutter?
Work lead connection on the sheet itself?
How long have you had the table?
Have you been having successful cuts up in till now?
Did you follow the troubleshooting that came up with the error?

Well now I feel silly, and I have wasted your time, my apologies.
I read the instructions again and looked ay my sheet cam program, I am at 0.4sec. Looks like I should slow down and read a little more.
Will assume the problem is me, the intermittency must be being very close to the recommended minimum and being okay most of the time

So let me know if Pierce time was the problem.
What thickness of material and what pierce time were you having trouble with?
