I’ve been experiencing intermittent cut issues lately with my XR using Hypertherm SYNC 85. Yesterday was cutting 1/2" AR400, before that was 12ga SS. It will start out cutting fine then it won’t cut all the way through and sparks will shower outwards on top. It will correct itself usually and start penetrating again. Thinking it can only be a ground issue or an air issue. Grounding is pretty straight forward so leaning towards air. I am recharging the desiccant beads now for my inline dryer. Any other ideas?
