Inkscape svg project issue when converting to dxf

Hello guys. I’m still learning as much as I can about using inkscape and I spent some time making an image in inkscape (1 hour). I can pull it up and adjust the nodes and everything just fine in inkscape, but when I convert it to dxf using convertio and try to open it in fusion it only registers it as an rectangle.

I even tried to bitmap it on inkscape but it didn’t seem to work. Any idea what I could have done wrong? I believe it’s a svg file in inkscape.

Did you do “trace bitmap” in Inkscape?

Use object to path and save as an svg. Should work.

I always save as a plain svg not an inkscape svg. Then it goes to sheet cam and no fooling around with anything and I’m cutting in 2 minutes.
