I guess I missed it. I’m getting lots of explanations on how THC and IHC and floating Z works
but how high up or down
should the torch be clamped in order for the Z assembly/IHS system to function properly?
It should be mounted so that there is still available downward travel when the torch contacts the work piece.
I’m order to trip the IHS switch, the Z axis needs to be able to continue to move downward after the torch touches the metal.
