anyone can tell me how to split a vector in inkscape and leave ends open for index cutting?

I do it all inside Fusion but I did a little digging around on YouTube and did find this series of videos that show you how to index cut on inkscape and then move it to sheet cam.
Maybe this will work for you.
I’m surprised that there isn’t some sort of index cutting with inside sheet cam. You think there’d be some call for it with all these smaller hobby tables these days.
Are you guys ever planning on adding an index cutting feature to sheet cam ?
