Improving cut to spare fine details

Yes a lot of them do have Hypertherm numbers on them. The Razorweld consumables sold by Lanmuir are not Hypertherm. I have not gotten any of there (real) Hypertherm consumables to see if they are aftermarket. I don’t think Shop Saber would like being sued if they were selling aftermarket Hypertherm consumables as the (real) thing. You don’t have to take my word you can think what ever you want about this.

Who or what is Shop Saber?

They are the company that bought Langmuir about a year ago.

They are the owners of Langmuir.

Ohhh. I didnt know that. Interesting

I have a few friends that work at Hypertherm. I live about 30 minutes from the NH plant. It would be nice if those parts worked on my torch i can get them cheaper if so. I will have to try and see.

So back to the butterfly wings. I am going to try dropping amperage and see if that helps with cut and dross. Also. I was getting the THC error during a few of those cuts but not all. One of the guys i know suggested adding a pig tail to the work clamp and resting the pig tail in the water tray. Submerged. I tried it with some braided copper ground strap I salvaged. I have not had a THC issue since. Thoughts on that? Strickly coincidence? It makes me uncomfortable thinking about a wire in water. I realize the whole tray is connected to the clamp via the clamp being on the steel I am cutting and the steel being on the slats.
