IHS FAILURE issue

I have a Crossfire pro with razor weld cut 45 plasma and machine torch also has thc. I was able to cut some basic rectangles to work on the settings but when I try to cut a little more detailed cut. I keep getting the IHS failure. everything is plugged in and secure. and it’s a new machine so everything is fairly cleaned. any ideas?

My dude, you’ve posted like 3 different threads where many of us have tried to help you.

We’ve asked questions, asked you to post pics, as well as being supplied lots of information to help you troubleshoot.

You don’t answer many of those questions, you never posted any pics, and you never told us if you’ve done any troubleshooting to provide us results.

Now you’re asking the same thing again with the same people in the same forum and expecting different results.

You’re insane.

I’ve tried all you guys have said and when i do a basic design it would work and then the next cut it doesn’t work. and I’m keep getting different problems so that’s why there are multiple threads. I’ve done the trouble shooting as I’ve said before. everything is plugged in and secure and everything is clean. and the ihs switch works. I’m keep asking the same questions because I am trying to see if someone has a different answer or similar problem because I am still getting the issues with the solutions that people have said so far. I am just trying to find a fix to the many problems that’s all. I’m asking for help not criticism that’s all

Is there a chance that the torch is to close or touching the plate before it starts the IHS cycle?

You need criticism more than you need help.

I provided an extremely detailed PDF that covers the entire troubleshooting guide for THC as shown in your other thread which you abandoned -

And in your first thread, you were also asked for pictures as well as provided suggestions of things to look for to which all you said is “I’ve tried everything…” without detailing what you did exactly, and what the results of each step was -

You are expecting for a cut and dry answer to exist without putting in any actual time to do anything on your end, or at the very least not willing to provide any information as to what is actually going on and what you have specifically done.

I’d be willing to go as far as actually helping you on Zoom or FB because I try to lighten the burden on the regulars here and help others.

Normally I’m found on the FB group.

But again, you need to put in a little elbow grease yourself.

I hadn’t went back to the other threads yet. This could be a z axis coupling slipping also or motor.

The torch staying to close to the material. Then not raising up causing the IHS error.
