Hypertherm 45xp received

I just received my Hypertherm 45xp yesterday evening from UPS. I barely got through the packaging before having to head off to do barn chores and supper.

I will say this quickly;

  1. packaging on Hypertherm’s end - top notch. They take great care to make sure everything is professionally labelled, packaged and the design is top of the line.

  2. Baker’s Gas literally shipped the Hypertherm - they didn’t put it in a larger box. The weather here in my part of Florida yesterday was nasty, rain most of the day. The Hypertherm box has two convenient handles on it. UPS left the box outside my gate in the rain. I was not happy about this. Thankfully Hypertherm seals the manuals in plastic bags.

Can’t wait to get through evertyhing later today.

Jim Colt - I would have been especially proud to work for an American company that turns out such a well-put-together machine.

Hopefully I get some test cuts in today. I don’t get my fine cut consumables until later in the week.

How did you wire this bad boy? (did you have the cpc port)

Yes I did. There is a post on here on how to wire it. It wasn’t that difficult. I did it on my everlast cutter.
