I am new and obviously stupid I ordered machine fully assembled with hyperthermia 45 xp setting u now plugged everything in got computer up and running got air to plasma cutter at 120 psi got power just can’t make sense of the system about torch tried to fire it up and nothing happened test failed I thought all this was plug and play but I see something on here about moving pins in plugs and wiring can someone please help me out understanding what to do I bought the 45 xp plug and play cord maybe just don’t have plugged into the correct plug or something I am a loss here

Are you running a XR with a 45 XP with a machine torch?
What was the failure message that popped up?
welcome to the forum…it also helps to know what software you are using to design and post process as welll as the metal gauge you are tryting to cut…
I would also suggest you start eith the basic bottel opener to get your plasma cutting dialed in

Have your work clamp attached to what your cutting?
Yes it is clamped on metal
Do a 1" square and 0.5" circle in middle but when you go to create your Gcode deselect THC. This will tell you if plasma or THC issue quickly.

It takes a little while get things figure out.

You’re not going to get voltage unless the torch fires.
Do you have a machine torch? The Langmuir CPC cable only works with a machine torch. The references to moving pins is for hand torches.
Assuming you have a machine torch. The short cable from the CPC goes to the DIV input on the small plastic VIM box. Then another cable goes from the DIV output on that plastic box to the THC port on the electronics enclosure.
The long cable from the CPC goes to the torch on/off port on the electronics enclosure.
Edit: also make sure the electronics enclosure is powered on. It will still show as connected in Firecontrol, but nothing will work unless it’s powered on

Can you send some pics of your setup and a screen shot of the errors you are getting. Also, no need to start a second thread as it will cause confusion with those trying to help you. Keep it all on the same thread so people know what others have said and what you have done.
In your other thread you mentioned you haven’t been able to get help from phone support. Are you calling the number for XR users?
