Hurricane Beryl Recovery Efforts

Today I’m working on hurricane relief efforts for Grenada/Carriacou. A hell of a project. Carriacou was totally devastated yesterday by hurricane Beryl and Grenada sustained severe damage. Trying to arrange sat phone and ham radio communications resources between the two islands,
My Kentucky associates (Infinium Medical) has offered to ship supplies over there too, But shipping/customs logistics are proving to be a nightmare.
“Anyone willing to help with relief supplies for Carriacou , Bim Rostant is sending a boat tomorrow.

OMG Cletus. What a task.

Is there a place that would reliably get money to help provide the necessary supplies? So often the money relief efforts take more than 60% of the funds for ‘administrative costs.’ I would rather send money direct to you than to send to the Clinton Foundation.

Thank you so much Jim. I am researching the mechanisms for that now. Will get back to you.
My buddy here who owns probably the largest shipyard in the Caribbean is sending over a vessel tomorrow with two containers of supplies and some personnel. 5-years younger and I would be on that vessel too my friend.

This might be a time that splitting this off to its own topic would be good. If it is okay with you Cletus, perhaps @TomWS could help.

Absolutely, Yes Please

Thanks much guys.
Just had a good, long conversation with the Roman Catholic Archbishop in Grenada and we’re Ironing out the necessary address and protocols for contributions for the effort.
Meanwhile, my buddy’s boat sails out with two 20ft containers of relief supplies and work-crew tomorrow.
