How to take zipped files to fusion

I downloaded some files from fileshare to practice with and get started. they are all zipped files so im not sure if that is the problem or not. when I go on fusion and try to pick a file to insert from dxf on my downloaded none of them pop up, even though if I look on my files on my computer they are still there. never used any programs like this at all, and am pretty computer illiterate so any help would be great.

You have to unzip them first. If you’re on Windows 10 clicking on the zip file will show the files in it. Select the “extract all” option and the DXF file(s) will be extracted and saved to your hard drive. Make sure you note where that is - typically downloads\zipfilename (without the .zip). Then you can insert it into Fusion by navigating to directory they were extracted to.
