I will be purchasing a machine in the near future.
how are yall pricing work. My plan is to do ornamental and also production.
I’m pretty affordable at $100/hour so that’s how I price it.
There are tons of “charts” including excel files and more that float around the internet for this sort of stuff.
Problem is, where you are in the world will largely affect not only your cost for raw material, but also your suggested labor rate.
Not only will labor rates vary greatly in different parts of the country, but also the experience you bring to the table.
+1
We do 105 Canadian an hour for shop and
CAD services. Plus materials.
If I have to provide materials we put 50% on our cost of materials.
If there’s any larger runs of things we price per project.
I’m currently running a 217 pc and a 610 pc part run that that I did estimation based on the 105 an hour labour plus materials.
@JOHNNY5811 Welcome to The forum
Is…is someone about to pee into the water table?
I have my XR with only one side of access. So I end up stepping up onto the table to service the one y rail and to retrieve parts too far back from the edge of table.
Montana!
Went thru there for the first time on our way to Yellowstone.
I knew there was no way you could resist.
Here is where my BIL lives in relation to your water table.
going there end of February snowmobiling
It is not as simple as you think to find TW. I thought I would just stop by and this is what I found.
As for Yellowstone, beautiful:
Staying in west Yellowstone?
I went there with my bro a couple years ago. Super fun trip! They got 4 FEET of snow while we were there!
Yes there is 9 of us going I like it but I’m not fan of the temps
Great Falls? Only two seasons…Hotter than hell and windy or colder than hell…and windy
Here’s me, right below TW
Whitefish. I tried to get it in the right spot… even overlaid a google earth map over the state but it might not be quite right.
He has two ski in ski out condos on big mountain. He used to live in one but just built a house in the valley on 5 acres.
Very nice place.
No, I think you nailed it. Anything this side of the divide is beautiful country. I’ve always said it looks like God drew a line down a third of Montana. Everything west of that line is gorgeous, then it all turns brown and desolate until you get to Minnesota
Johnny learned more about geography and where you guys are located than he did pricing
Well,he did learn how to get a hold of some really cool tools if he goes to those places!
