almost retied, 6 months and counting, Hospital Facilities and Operations Manager of a 350,000sqft Hospital…master carpenter who dove into metal work as I found there was no real way to stretch wood…but metal…fun stuff to play with
Wood has its other benefits
But being able to work with both will make you a master craftsman.
Your job sounds very serious… managing such a big hospital must be a huge responsibility and especially now… How do you manage your time so that you are able to achieve it all and be a craftsman?
it may sound big…but I manage the smaller of 3 Hospitals that are combined…
I am lucky that I have a great team of Maintenance staff…they make my job all that much better.
Serious…yes it can be…and Covid did not make it easier…
as for time…this is my stress relief…and I have a fantastic wife…she is the support I need.
Besides…I am what you would cal a “DINKWAD” Double Income No Kids With A Dog
