Hi guys brand new to all of this including the cad world. My first project was the caster wrench from file share I managed to get it to cut but when the torch is transitioning from the round hole to the outside cut it is not turning off and ruining the part. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated
You nailed it. It was on 4T. with regards to the lead in on some cuts it wont let me cut on the waste side usually inside cuts. when I click the arrow (Fusion360) it will just jump from outside to outside? Any thoughts?
You might have to turn off leads or adjust them to fit inside the profile. This is where you set them (in the photo) . Each noted item with affect the size and path of the lead ins. you can set these and go back to check what the path looks like in the main window to make sure you are getting what you want.
I find it easier to extrude the shape in fusion, then it knows what the inside/outside lines are and will cut on the proper side. Toolpathing off sketch lines can be tricky to tell if it is cutting on the correct side when you are new to fusion.
