Help with ballscrew assembly bend

Hey everyone! I was in the process of assembling my machine, when came time to look into the ballscrew assemblies for the y axis. Upon pulling them out of the box and plastic ,I immediately noticed a bend in one of the screw. Have any of you dealt with anything like this? To any degree?l what could it affect aside from possible binding? Thank you

Darn it, im in canada too. And the shipping crates had absolutely no damage and the screw assembly was kept in the box untill ready for install. No idea how it happened

You might, …might be able to straighten it. Quick and simple, put your hands on either side of the bend, EQUAL distance from the crest of the bend, and gently pull it against your knee.

Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Unless you have a press, then the same applies with cribbing and a piece of wood against the threads where you apply pressure with the ram.

Langmuir will replace this if you let them know and SHOULD take care of shipping to Canada. There shouldn’t be import duties since it would be a replacement…
