Hello from East TN

Hello, I’m retired military (go big blue!) who moved on to manufacturing engineering, and now I’m back in school. I’m about 90% finished assembling a ProMax. I’ve had some minor issues so far with the lead screws and the couplers not playing nice, but Langmuir is helping me out. I’m going to run it with a 62i. It’s been a fun build so far; it feels like a grown-up LEGO set…

Also had fun setting up an air exhaust system, minus the 6-inch hole I cut in my house… Also added a fume extractor. Spent a few days building the air system, but I might add a copper coil in a water-bucket setup; I have a feeling I might never really be finished haha.

Planning to use it to build cabin decor and a few other touristy things, as I live in a tourist town, and to build some truck-related parts for a new business I’m trying to get started up. Excited to start melting some metal. Tons of great info in the forum; looking forward to chatting with y’all about it!

Welcome to forum! I have had my Crossfire Pro for about 5 years and love it. I am hoping that when I retire in the next 3+ years that it can help with extra income, I do a little bit of sales now but am growing the business so that I do not have to work for the “man” after 62
