I am tying to have the offset be inside on the diamonds and holes I drew, then on the straight vertical lines, I need the offset to be on the left side of it so that I get the correct measurement out of the plate I am cutting out. Is there a way to do this or am I not understanding correctly
There is no offset on a line…
On open lines, you can control the cut side by picking “Outside Cut” and editing the Start at one end or the other. You’ll see the green kerf line move to either side as you change it.
@TomWS is correct but, in order for that to work, you must have the “offset open paths” box checked in the Jet Cutting operation screen.
How can I control this?
Thank you I appreciate it
That is correct, which is why I need help haha
I unchecked the box, just haven’t figured out how to switch the line to the other side
Use the “edit start points” tool (the S with an arrow next to it) to click on the opposite end of the line to move the start point to that end and switch the offset to the other side.
I apologize, but I am not seeing where I can switch the offset for just that open line
Actually, I clicked a few things with that tool and it changed automatically lol.
I just made a quick Loom video of the process. Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software
Awesome thanks for the quick reply
