Have you signed up for Fusion in the last 30-60 days?

If you singed up for the free version can you tell me if you have the ability to save a drawing to a pdf?
I had the paid version and went back to the free version, now I cant save a drawing to a pdf.

I have free version and still have that option. I did not just sign up however. Why would that matter?

I have had the free version for years and yes, it still has the created drawings . Regardless of when you sign up We still get the regular updates.

Do you still have the Export tab (usually far right of screen)? Another option is Print to PDF…

Knick, I have never tried to export to pdf but have explored and even with the recent guidance from Autodesk
https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-export-Fusion-360-Drawings.html

This feature appears to now be behind the pay wall. Those of you who have it with the free version are probably an update away from losing it. (I could be missing something but it is not available to me).

In the drawing space that I believe Terrance is referring now has the symbol over the pdf export icon that suggests it has been removed from the free version:

You might be the canary in the coal mine on this one!

Was wondering if somepeople may be grandfathered in

Can you save your drawings to a PDF?

I do have the Export button but its greyed out and it shows the mo money symbol

Thats a shame… Still, you should be able to Print to PDF, if you have a PDF printer installed. (I think Windows comes with one by default.)

I see in Autodesk Add-on page, there is a program that was updated Dec. 2023 that says it can generate a pdf file for Fusion 360. It has a trial version and then it is $49.

I did not try it as my hard drive is already too crowded. Here is more information:

Mine is now also gone. Maybe I was on a delayed update or something. I tend to postpone them when given the option.

You are correct, I can get the same thing by printing to a PDF. I also see its time for another update  This is the first time in a few weeks I have used fusion and it seems like things are quite different or maybe its just me.

For someone like me, things always changing is the worst.

I fear you will find that “print” feature gone when you update. The only “print” feature that will exist is the 3D print option.

They have locked this down.

This is the same feeling I have with digital currency: Numbers evaporating before your eyes.
