Have to buy whole new box for thc

Awesome thanks will check it out

Well things may be changing, less and less time with all the jobs im picking up… wife rold me to just spend the extra 600 and buy the oem , and give her and the kids the time i would be messing around playing with the new hardware to get it working…

Cant really argue with that… well i could but itd be alot more expensive than 600 bucks lol.

You’ll get a lot more support with that decision! Not only from here, but at home.

Just as an FYI for anyone that’s curious, the server driver is the same for all 3 axis. The drivers are pretty cheap and very available online. Super common. They are a TB6600, less than $20 US. The problem is the THC controller board as they are proprietary. BTW, the power supply is a standard version too. About $35 US if memory serves (don’t ask how I know…)

I have a MASSO on my wood router, https://www.masso.com.au/. Its capable of plasma control as well (also lathe). Works great, I would have purchased the touch, but it wasn’t available yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK0P6_K3kHw

Hmm ill take a look…i wonderif they’reavailablein Canada. i ended up buying the OEM kit for my thc… but am looking at converting my mini mill to cnc. Been doing a fair bit of gunsmith work seeing as our last gunsmith in a 500km area has retired.

An associate here Ross, now retired, added a MASSO Touch and Teknic Servos to his new Precision Matthews PM-940. He loves it and he’s been using HAAS, Doosan, DMG MORI etc for decades.

ps. this video is really old but you get the idea
