Was wondering if anyone has attempted to use LIBRE CAD. I understand you can actually buy and own the program instead of typical monthly payment so
many other platforms require.
I am sure there are…if you type Libre Cad into the search box you will find a lot of discussion on this software
I use it works pretty good. Its free and it works.
What do you use for CAM?
I find it ironic that LibreCAD’s genesis was to add CAM to Qcad (according to LibreCAD’s about statement), but now that they have a 2D CAD package, no CAM tool is included.

I use sheetcam. I will admit that version 6.0.3 seems more bulletproof than the first 7.0 version I downloaded.
I also use libre cam. It takes a little getting used to and I have to relearn it if I don’t use it for a few weeks. But after some youtube tutorials I’m usually able to make it do what I want.
I also use sheet cam, which has done well for me.
I exclusively use librecad for all my drafting. There’s some features I’d like it to have but it works great. Occasionally it hiccups but other than that I love it. Plus…it’s $free.99 which is my favorite
