I have a hypertherm powermax 30 air and have rewired it according to the video. I used Fusion 360 to create a part and uploaded the gcode to Firecontrol. I can get the torch to fire manually, but as soon as I start Firecontrol the green IHS button is Green and when I go to run my part I get the error message referring to torch cable length/plug the cable in. When I clear it, it says the machine controller encountered an error on line 10 which reads: G38.2 Z0.5 F20. I have the base model crossfire and no z axis control.
Open your.ncfire program in a text document then copy and paste the first 20 lines of code.
Please clarify that this table has worked for you in the past with a different plasma cutter, or you were starting fresh. If you were starting fresh, we need to know what wires are plugged into where on both the plasma cutter and the control table. Pictures at this point will say a thousand words.
If your code had that line in it, you didn’t put in the right values when you set it up.
If you don’t have a Z axis, you need to set the pierce and cut heights to zero
I don’t use Fusion, but I think there is an IHS field that needs to be unchecked. Someone that uses Fusion can correct me if I’m wrong about that
