we also started swapping hose to 3/8 just because we can get better fitting’s and hose off of McMaster and local. external connection is now 3/8 NPT to push connect so we can just thread on any fitting we want. Right now we have universal compressor hose QC’s to our oxy and nitrogen dewer

The more square the cut on the tubing the better, but the fitting can handle a cut slightly off.
The better the cut the less chance of a leak.
The tube needs to enter the fitting straight not on a angle like in the pic. They need to use a more flexible tube, that would help keep that from happening.
