Gcodes errors on mach 3

It’s letting me do stuff on fusion 360 but won’t let me burn anything out its says bad code I even downloaded something off of fire share it goes to mach 3 but says error could someone please help me

Which program (Fusion or Mach) is throwing an error? What is the error? Can you attach a screenshot?

Gonna need some details as to where in the workflow you’re hitting problems. Were you successful in following the Langmuir tutorials or did you get errors then too?

I’ll have to take pics when I get off work

It won’t let me cut anything I’ve put into gcode from autodesk fusion 360

You didn’t go through the tutorials did you? Or run the break-in routine?

Mach3 is showing the error (“RnR Motion card not found”) that indicates the plug-in was not installed correctly or you haven’t connected the laptop to the control box successfully.

If you did actually run the break-in routine and were also successful in the “cutting your first part” tutorial video then your plug-in is correctly installed and it’s likely your USB connection or the control box. The USB cable needs to be connected and the control box turned on before you start Mach 3 (do you see a red led on the control board when you fire up Mach?).

If the control board doesn’t light then it’s either the board (& Support will need to get you a new one) or the USB cable is allowing interference which can be solved by a new shielded USB cable (about $8 on Amazon).

All of the troubleshooting steps are dependent on whether you were able to run the break-in routine as a starting point.

When I click on the crossfire break in link it states my laptop doesn’t have a app to run it. The laptop is brand new. I do not have things like Google docs or Microsoft Office installed. What app should I try.

Sounds like you’re missing pieces of the puzzle–go here:

Download the Motion Controller Plug in, the Mach3 profile and if you’re on Win10 the patch for Mach3.
You really should watch the videos that Langmuir put out on YouTube, they cover all this stuff in a very clear way that will get you up and running:

Redone everything. Ran break in program. Next I tried to download an image from Fireshare. It is a zip file so I extracted it to a dxf. When I go to load g code it shows codes but says bad code still at bottom.

A DXF file won’t run in Mach3.

Did you bring the DXF into Fusion or Sheetcam, create the toolpaths and then generate the G-Code (.tap file)?
