Fusion is posting feed rates of F2540 ipm - Solved

I work for a guy who has a Crossfire XR. I was working with Fusion when the hard drive got to 100%.

Long story short I had to reset the system.

I have TurboCAD and SheetCAM, so I can still work.

Fusion is posting feed rates of 2540 ipm.

Any help is much appreciated. See code and image below:

The number seems very reminiscent of a inches to millimeters conversion issue.

100 inches =

2540 millimetres

Can you post the f3d file you use to create this?

Is the first cut specified in Metric dimensions? It’s only the first profile that has that high speed.

Looks like they are all high speed cuts.

Thanks:

When I look at your tool data in that file it’s showing the cut speed as 2540 ipm . You’ll have to edit the tool file to 100 inches per minute or whatever you’re going for and then regenerate that tool path.

I’m not sure how that number for the tool was entered there but from that point on fusion was just doing what it’s told to do.

Thanks,

When I created the tool, somehow I had the feed rate at 2540, which I changed to 25 IPM. The tool library showed the change (see image). The output was still 2540. I created a new tool and made sure to start out with the 25 IPM rate. Problem solved.
