Fusion dxf not loading right in Inkscape

Can some one help me fix this dxf? I have saved it from fusion 360 and trying to get it to load into Inkscape so it can be used as a paint mask on a sign I am working on. It shows up correct in a DXF viewer put not in Inkscape.
p2.dxf (2.8 KB)

Try saving it as a different DXF version. Some work ok and some just open as a blank file for me. Even when they do open, they are usually unconnected lines and arcs. They look connected, but the nodes are not connected.

Saving as SVG works much better.

I opened the original in Inkscape and only 1 of the 2 arcs appeared

I redrew the arc with the 3 point arc tool in Fusion and “Save as DXF”

p2 3.dxf (2.3 KB)

Now it seems to load correctly in Inkscape

There is the possibly to also export a PDF from Fusion 360 which Inkscape likes.

Or you could use that PDF to make a SVG in convertio. then move it into Inkscape

Thank you @TinWhisperer!!! Something seemingly so simple and I just could not get it to work. Didn’t even thin about PDF. I did try running through “Vector convertor” a program I have usually good luck with but it would just keep loosing that inner arc no matter the format. I am horrible with Inkscape too so trying to keep it to scale ate my lunch. I guess I know what I need to spend time learning next.

What was your workflow for extracting that DXF
from Fusion 360 in the first place?

Did you create the shape in Fusion 360?

Can you post your F3D ?

I am curious what leads to this error.

I had taken bodies that I wanted to cut out in vinyl on the wifes Cricut machine and derived them into a new file. I then tried using sketch, project, then save direct to dxf by right clicking the sketch in the browser tree. I also did it by exporting it as a sketch. I tried converting into every format that my convert program would do. I could get them to open in a dxfviewer program but would not load into Inkscape or the Cricut design space program. Here is the program but I had to break the link so I could get it into a f3d file as the forum wouldn’t let upload a f3z file. It also won’t let me upload the original file do to size.
