Fusion 360 to sheetcam?

I have been using Inkscape and sheetcam after being frustrated by how slow and clunky fusion 360 was operating. Initially I was able to save fusion 360 dxf files to my computer, but they recently changed that and I can only save them to the cloud now. I need to draw a few parts and would like to use fusion to draw them since I am familiar with it, but I want to use sheetcam to process them. Does anyone have a way around the inability to save the dxf files locally to my computer.

Just saw this on another thread and I tried it and it seems to work. Right click your sketch and the dropdown should give you an option to save as DXF.

Hope this is what you’re looking for.

New here on the forum so there’s a lot to go through :grinning:

Thank you, that worked. I was trying to export it as a dxf and it won’t work because I don’t have the paid version…but apparently you can save it as a dxf…go figure. Wonder if that’s an overlooked feature that was supposed to go away.
