Hello! I have been using fusion 360 for about 6 months now and every once in a while, when I go to create a sign a certain font, I will have some letter that are “incomplete”, and they don’t register as a closed loop. is there a quick way to “complete the loop”? I have added a picture as an example of what is happening right now. My letter “A” seems to not be complete around the outside, so it doesn’t show up when I go to highlight it to extrude the piece.
“Pedestrian gate” sign is the issue
“Exit” sign is no issues.
Some fonts do have issues when you explode them. You can go in and manually repair the sketch.
I can see that you exploded your text first before using those newly created sketch profiles to make the extrusion.
Try instead of exploding the text using “sketch text” to make the extrusion. So do not explode the sketch text first. When you make your extrusion right click on the unexploded text and you should have the option of using “sketch text” as your extrusion.
