I’ve been thinking about this same issue - I very much dislike the forced cloud storage unless it’s a cloud service I control. Fusion’s strategy is to keep your data in their servers and you will loose access if you fail to pay or if they decide you don’t qualify for the free tier.
I use OneDrive as my primary cloud / file backup which let’s me control what and how files are stored. For exampe, I have a local CNC folder that I sync with OneDrive and that folder is available on my cutting PC and my design PC. So when I generate a G-Code file to cut on my design PC, I save it in my CNC folder, and go to my cut PC and open it from the sync’d folder. It’s backed up and I only have to deal with one copy / no USB sticks. Works for me.
When I’m in Fusion, what I’ve started doing is right clicking on my sketch and saving as DFX file in my PC’s CNC Folder. Then I save the project in Fusion to their cloud. That way I’ve always got a DFX file locally. It’s a pain, but I think worth the extra trouble. If Fusion goes away, I still have a way to get my designs rebuilt in another software package.
I don’t know of a way to save multiple projects in bulk. I think this is by design to keep you tied in.
Hope that helps…just my way - I’m sure others have their own flavors…good luck!
