Foot pedal issues

Been running the Titan for a few weeks now and I’m experiencing connection issues with the foot pedal. Sometimes it registers that I’m pressing the pedal and sometimes it doesn’t. The requirement to double press to actuate makes it even more difficult, sometimes registering the first press, but not the second. This leads to me pressing 8+ times before I get 2 consecutive registered pedal presses and it’s progressively getting worse.

I’ve traced the foot pedal wiring and not finding anything out of sorts.

Is anyone aware of any kind of fix?

It is probably the Microswitch inside the pedal. I have never had mine apart. But, I have had other ones. I doubt if it’s the wiring.

Here is a fix that may help.

  1. Remove the top cover to the foot pedal.

2. Loosen the two screws holding the trigger axle in line with the press pad. (marked in the picture above.

3. Twist the trigger bracket and axle to a position where it triggers slightly sooner (pictured below).

4. Tighten all of the screws in the assembly to make sure they are secure.

5. Replace the cover of the foot pedal.
