Very nice. I like the Becks Tools laser torch holder.
Remember not to tighten the bottom clamp too tightly. He has designed it not to crush the torch mechanism. I leave my hand tight, plus a 1/4 turn.
I’m glad it’s all working out.

Was definitely not expecting the 2nd pic to come out of the first, looked like some kind of demonic zombear

Definitely a hidden message there! I’d advise against doing anything extreme for a while… :grimacing:

What is the smallest tip you would recommend for the 82i? I have only seen .6’s…

If you have an Everlast PTM 80 amp machine torch (a Chinese copy of the real thing), 1.0 mm is the smallest you can get without resorting to Chinese junk consumables. If you need a smaller kerf, buy a PTM 60 torch.
Be aware of the Plasmadyne torches and consumables. Three hundred torch problem threads cannot be wrong.

Thank for the info. Everlast sent the .9 for 30-40 amps. Going to look into the 60 torch as other have done here.

I don’t use the Everlast consumables ( cheap Chinese junk). But .9 mm is really the smallest tip for that torch. When you are ready, PM @mechanic416 for the good stuff. They are the real deal and only sell quality stuff. He owns a plasma shop in Delaware. Great guy and knows his shit.

I’m sorry it took so long to reply. Honey bees had moved into the side of my house. I had a beekeeper come and remove the hive with the queen.
I vacuumed all the workers as they returned to the hive. I guess I just became an amateur beekeeper. She is taking the hive back to her farm.
There had to be 10,000 of them in the garage ceiling joist. Now I can cross beekeeper off my bucket list. $ 900 dollars poorer now.

$900 and she keeps the bees and honey as a side bar sales income?
