First Move not holding material

For a while when I first got the Titan I would start a program:

  1. hold both buttons to lower the RAM to clearance height
  2. double tap foot to bring ram down and pinch the material which would put slight pressure on the material
  3. continue to hold foot and it would execute the bend (3 sec delay)

Now step 2 is broken. The ram comes down and floats a 1/16" or so above the material. If I let the bend continue it grossly underbends (as expected). How do I recalibrate the ram to it settles correctly during step 2?

Thanks

The safety hand buttons should bring the ram down to hold the metal snug but movable. Only then do you double-tap the pedal to bend. Have you entered the correct metal thickness into BendControl? If not, it may think that your material is thicker than you are using.

Page 28 thru 30 is the recalibration process.
Good luck
